Why we started this company

Anyone who has bought commercial doors knows the pattern. You send a request for a quote. Two days go by. A PDF arrives with a lead time that turns out to be optimistic. Then the doors show up with the wrong handing, and the person who sold them to you has stopped returning calls.

Double Tree Distribution was started by people who spent years on the other side of that phone call and got tired of watching it happen.

The business was built on a straightforward idea: a commercial door distributor should be judged on two things: whether the order is right and whether it is on time. Everything we do is organized around those two questions.

What we supply & how we hit tight deadlines

We are a full-line commercial door distributor. That means the entire opening comes from one place: hollow metal and steel doors, solid-core wood doors, aluminum storefront entrances, metal building doors, fire-rated assemblies, knockdown and welded frames, and the locksets, closers, exit devices, hinges, and thresholds that go with them.

Ordering the entire package from a single supplier is not a convenience pitch. It is how you avoid the situation where the door arrives on Tuesday, the frame arrives the following Monday, and the hardware turns out not to fit either.

We quote the date we can actually hit, not the date that wins the order. If your schedule genuinely cannot accommodate our honest lead time, we would rather tell you that upfront than take the order and cost you a week you did not budget for.
